Leaving so soon?  Was it something I said?

I just want you to know that I realize everyone has a different sense of humor, a different comfort level in talking or reading about certain subjects and different views on what it means to be a mother.

And, I'm also aware, that as a Christian, you may hold to certain beliefs about what is or is not okay for a believer to say.

Having said that, I want to sincerely apologize if I've said something that left you feeling uneasy.  Please understand that this blog was created as a way to express motherhood in a way that so many moms honestly feel, but are afraid to verbalize.   We all love our kids, but there are times when loving them is not enough to combat the sheer exhaustion of raising them.  For that reason, I felt women needed a place to gather and be encouraged.

I try to achieve that with humor, but I know that I have dark and sarcastic tendencies to my humor that may not be appreciated by all.

All I ask is that you extend a measure of grace, and know that anything I say here is a combination of the honesty of my experience with my children and a wild streak of humor that helps me keep pressing on to another day.

If you can accept my word that I love children with all my heart, then please, try to understand the humor and stick around a bit.

But if you can't, just know that anytime you are feeling lonely, scared or just plain overwhelmed, you are welcome back here anytime.

Thanks for stopping in.

Jey
